Happy Mothers day to all! Well... Premothers day at least ;) Clinique offered some gift sets in celebration of mothers day and since I ran out it seemed like a perfect opportunity to get some more of my preferred skin treatments. 

So pretty! I love gift wrapping! Sometimes when I buy stuff I ask to get it wrapped, just so I can unwrap it. Totally not Eco friendly I know, but hey ill try to reuse it in crafts! It was 275Dkr with shipping

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap, mild

I love this, its really gentle with a lot of foam. It doesn't dry out the skin, and easy removes makeup as well

Clinique Clarifying Lotion, 2

This clarifying lotion doesn't dry out the skin, which is good for sensitive skin like mine. It reduce the pore size and generally freshen up the skin. 

Clinique 7 Day Scrub Rinse Off Cream

Nice and odour free scrub, the grains are really fine, like sand almost

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

This is like amazing. I had to get used to the scent but the cream itself is amazing, it gives loads of moisture without adding to any oily t-zone

I also got two samples- which is really cool as Danish retailers are usually very very VERY cheap when it comes to samples (even our magazines - I envy UK)

Repairwear Laser Focus Wrinkle & UV Damage Corrector

This is some kind of anti-wrinkle serum

All About Eyes Serum De-Puffing Eye Massage

Serum with caffeine and build-in massage, suppose to help puffy eyes and reduce those pesky dark circles under the eyes.

April Goodiebox

Goodiebox is the danish equivalent to Glossybox and Birchbox

EDC means Endoctrine disrupting chemicals. Group 1 is the 17 EDC who is proven to be harmful to humans and the environment.

I awaited this box impatiently, as I was unsure if I would renew my subscription or not. I can confidently say that I WILL, as its just amazing and its clear that Goodiebox have taken the critique seriously and toned down the hype. 

This box is inspired by Coco Chanel and her famous quote "Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance" and apparently danish woman has taken this to heart; The most part of the beauty budget of danish woman is used on basic products for the hair and skin and as any makeup artist will tell you, a skin well cared for is the best basis of beautiful makeup. 

And honestly, who doesn't feel more beautiful when you used a good body butter or brushing your hair after using a hair treatment? 

Nice, white and black as always. Elegance is a must!

Urtekram Nordic Birch Shampoo, normal hair

Urtekram is a danish vegan brand who prides themselves in using organic and ecological ingredients, where most of them is grown right here in Denmark! The shampoo is filled with neat ingredients such as coconut oil, jojoba oil, aloe vera and extract from birch leafs. There is no EDC´s from list 1 in it! I find that the pump is very clever and I'm looking forward to try it out

Derma Eco 24H creme, Normal/combined skin

Derma eco is another ecological brand. This one got the swan mark (A Nordic label given to products that meets the strict criteria of environmental friendly produce as well as to allergens in the product) as well as certified by the Asthma and Allergy union, who helps people with allergies use the best products. As the name suggest many of the ingredients is ecological - 20% to be exact.  Like any creme with respect for itself it has sheabutter and aloe vera but also glycerine and Olea Europaea Fruit Oil. The ingredients list is actually very short which is always a good thing. No EDC´s or perfume in either

MaxFactor ageless elixir

Foundation and serum in one. I doubt ill try this, as its to dark for me (I'm ivory skinned). I like the idea tough of nutritious foundation. However, Max Factor is really bad when it comes to EDC´s and I was not surprised to find that this product contains Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylhexyl, and Cyclotetrasiloxane all of which is in group 1! You DO NOT want this on your skin, no way no how.

Dr. Hauschka Body Care Kit

This got me so exited! The box is cool and I only heard good things about this brand! I must admit that I didn't search every single thing in this box for EDC´s but I looked through the ingredients lists and checked anything that sounded EDC like. It doesn't seem like there is any and that is great news! I will let you know when I get to check all of them, in case I find any. A little warning tough, a lot of these products contain PEANUT OIL, so beware if you have allergies

And here's a little update as to my experience with the products :)

Pukka Raidance Serum

It got a strong scent of... Herbs? It kinda remind me of my stinging nettle shampoo. The serum is quickly absorbed by the skin and leaves it very smooth. I wouldn't use it during daytime due to the scent, but its perfect for use at night under your night cream 

Aco sense & care hand creme

Very thick texture, absorbed fast and leaves hands smooth. Its not an amazing hand creme, but its fine for hands with need of a little extra moisture

Pukka tea - "Harmonise" and "Cleance"

Its pretty good tea, especially cleanse. I'm a sucker for green teas with peppermint

Blax Hair elastics

Best-elastic-bands-ever! I cant believe how good they are! They keep my thick hair gathered without the tight-bun look, they don't slip down easily but when you need to take them out, they slide off without hassle! I need more of these!

Kevin Murphy Luxury Wash

Contrary to what I thought, this is VERY thick! The texture reminded me of well made caramel sauce, thick, sticky and shiny. There was enough for 2 washes in this! It creates loads of foam instantly which makes it a breeze to work with. There my praise ends tough. To my deep disappointment, the shampoo didn't do anything but make my hair clean. My hair had no extra volume, smoothness, shine or anything after use. It did nothing, neither good or bad

March Goodiebox

This months box has been VERY delayed. It only started being delivered Wednesday which is a bit of a downer. However the promise of 13 things in the box eased the impatience, as well as they added Uffe Buchhard, a guy who apparently is very "in" and expert in beauty and fashion. Sounds promising.

Kevin Murphy Luxury Wash

According to KM´s website, this is sulfate and paraphen free shampoo, but I cant find any online lists of the ingredients. Skimming the back of the bottle revealed none of the 17 EDC on the European unions group 1. I am however always skeptic when someone don't publish their ingredients on their website. There is cocoa, shea butter and a lot of other oils in it, which is good for thick hair like mine. The bottle is small (40ml) and a very stupid shape. I will need to cut it open to get everything and with my thick hair theres barely enough for one wash. It got a spicy scent of cocoa and seems very liquid

Pukka nourishing face oil

Again its organic, and damn its filled with all sorts of stuff! Every seed oil you can imagine, from hemp to sesame to pomegranate is in this thing! I wish I could have gotten this in travel size and the serum in sample. Oh well.

Three tea packages... I don't know, I find it very odd to have something like that in a beauty box

Blax Hair elastics

The infamous elastic bands that Hollywood go nuts over (apparently - never heard of them). I'm not all that sure about how good they are to my hair, but time will tell

Aco sense & care hand creme

Hand creme with Canola oil, Q10 and other nourishing ingredients. It does however contains Propylparaben  and Methylparaben  wich is in the EDC group 1. NOT GOOD!  

OH MY GOSH nail polish in chestnut

Not much to say here, I'm not a huge fan of nude colors.

Pukka Raidance Serum

This is pretty neat. Its a serum to use prior to face cream. Its ecological, without paraphens and synthetic chemicals. Its filled to the brim with neat things such as Aloe vera, Honey, Honeysuckle flower extract, chamomile and things like that. 

Veet suprem´essence wax strips

I tried Veet once before, with the result that I had more wax on my legs than hairs on the strip. Maybe these are better?

And three eastereggs. Yum yum!

All in all I'm not as disappointed as I was first opening it but I'm still not as exited as I was with the previous. I miss some makeup products! They'll get another chance tough (And Pukka should consider ditching the drugstore look) as I know this time was hectic and google showed that the items where a tad more glamorous than they seem

February Goodiebox

Many of you already know this concept. Its like Birchbox and Glossybox just for Danes! I was exited when I learned about this,  hoping it wouldn't be a box of pharmacy sized samples from unknown brands. My doubts was put to shame, and I'm defiantly going to continue to get Goodiebox each and every month! The price is all right as well - 119dkr including shipping. That's approx 13£ or 20$

Without further delays, let me present my Goodiebox! Ill keep posting about the products as I try them out :D

Weleda Havtorn (sea buck thorn) hand lotion

Essie nail polish (full size!) in Peach Daiquiri. It is from a line that's apparently not yet released in Denmark. Regardless, the color is right up my alley! Looking forward to find out what the fuzz is about

Max factor 2000 calories mascara - full size! 

Moringa Body butter from Body shop - Mmmm! This is such a treat to my skin after the winter!

Nutriganics smoothing Serum sample from the Body shop - Small one-time sample but still nice

And a little extra, Chocolate covered Liquorice almonds!

All in all im extremely pleasently surprised! If they keep this up, they will have a regular costumer for years!
