Hair Hair Hair

As I recently told, I got a big HAUL from Nicehair with new things to try for my hair, and I think I'm due for an update and some reviews :D

EOS Lip Balm, Honeysuckle Honeydew

To sum it up - I don't have dry lips anymore!
Retail is 80Dkr, I paid 69Dkr

Batiste Dry Shampoo, Sweet & Spirited Boho

My oh my! This is magic! My hair tend to get heavy and a bit icky in the summer between washes, but this one did the trick! Just spray and brush, new non-greasy hair! The scent is nice and fresh, like oranges and even tough I'm sensitive about scent, this one didn't bother me. I got no allergic reaction either!
Highly recommended!
Retail is 75Dkr, I paid 39Dkr

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo
Such a great shampoo! very thick, kinda like the Kevin Murphy one I got in my March Goodiebox. Unlike the Murphy one tough, this one made a difference! Since I began using it, my curls have been really wavy!
Retail 99,95Dkr,  I paid 49Dkr

Indola Volume Conditioning Spritz

Leave in conditioner spray, to add volume, and boy was this a bad buy! First of all, I couldn't brush my hair no matter how much I sprayed in, secondly within 2 minutes my scalp was on fire! I had to re-wash! Never ever ever again!
Retail is 129Dkr, I paid 19Dkr

Fun fact of the Day: Deodorant first appeared in the 1890ies and was some of the first products to be sold using mass marketing campaigns

Wednesday Wishing Well

Every Wednesday ill blog about something I wish for. Something I cant buy right away or maybe ever, things that may be to expensive or to hard to get my hands on. And now presenting this weeks wish!

Kosé Cosme Decorte AQMW Christmas Coffret
Try saying that 3 times in a row!
Look at it  just look at eeeet! It is so girly and pretty and royal and princessy and shiny and pink and purple and shiny and! SOOO PWRUETTY! It comes with a eyeshadow palette, loose powder, puff and lip gloss and I need it! But alas, it is from Japan and I still haven't found a way to order stuff from Japan....
It retails at 7875 Yen - which I believe is around 60$ or something - HERE

Fun fact of the day: Despite many a hair product claim, you CANNOT repair death or dry hair using a product. Hair can only be rejuvenated from the root much like nails

Nicehair Haul

I decided it was time to try out a new website and get myself some cheap and neat treats for my hair! What I love about Nicehair is their bargain categories and deal of the day. The bargains are always 19Dkr, 39Dkr, 59Dkr, 79Dkr, and 99Dkr! They offer a big variety of hair products as well as makeup from the big brands and the discount ones as well and they always got a good deal on. If you buy for 500Dkr shipping is free (within Denmark). They use GLS and Post Danmark, personally I choose GLS and got it delivered to a package shop. It only took one full day before I got a mail saying my package had arrived!

Head Jog 201 Cutting Comb, Pink
I been needing a new comb for a while and jumped to the opportunity to get one for a mere 19Dkr.
Retail is 29Dkr

 Blax hair elastics, Black
I got some of these in the March Goodiebox, and they are without a doubt the very best elastic bands I ever had! Like they promise, no snag and they can hold even my wild and thick hair! Best part is that the bands can be stretched to your personal preference - you just gotta get over the fear of snapping them ;)
Retail is 69Dkr, I paid 49Dkr

EOS Lip Balm, Honeysuckle Honeydew

I read about EOS lip balms and I seen them in various tabloids in the hands of celebrities, and I have wondered what all the hype was about. I mean it is just a round lip balm? I stand corrected; The balm is harder than normal lip balm (I though it was covered in a plastic cap at first) but smooth and easy to apply. You can either "suck" it (make kissy mouth and turn the balm) or apply as you would any lip stick. It got a good grip, and you don't risk having it slide from you fingers and the container is sturdy enough to survive the depts of a handbag. The scent is pleasant and the taste is very very mild. You wont lick your lips to taste it but you wont make a face if you do either. The lip balm is 95% organic, paraben free and sports my favorite skin ingredients; Jojoba oil and shea butter!
Retail is 80Dkr, I paid 69Dkr

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo
Aussie is an Australian brand of haircare products wich focus on the many local ingredients, in this case macadamia nuts. The bottle is a bit like an old pharmacy in a good way, and the label did make me smile:
For hair that's dry/damaged/a bit unhappy
Its a miracle (well kind of). Not like child birth or a solar eclipse, but our formula with Australian macadamia nut oil infuses moisture into dry, damaged hair helping to condition and smooth"
I love a little irony and humor in marketing especially when they can poke fun of themselves. I didn't notice any of the 17 EDC´s, but I know that Aussie do tend to have parabens in their products.
Retail 99,95Dkr,  I paid 49Dkr

Indola Volume Conditioning Spritz

Leave in conditioner spray, to add volume. The cool thing about this is that there is sea salts and minerals in it and we all know how amazing hair looks after a day on the beach! I'm not familiar with the brand tough. I couldn't spot any of the 17 EDC´s
Retail is 129Dkr, I paid 19Dkr

Biosilk Silk Therapy

Leave in hair treatment, supposed to give new life to the hair and make it silky soft! Honestly, I couldn't resist the idea of a silk based treatment! Sadly it contains Methylparaben and Propylparaben which is on the EU list of EDC´s. On the plus side, it is very little you use at a time and only in the hair.
Retail is 74Dkr, I paid 39Dkr

Osis+ Magic
Shine spray with silicone and glycerin to give the hair some extra shine!
Retail is 149Dkr, I paid 59Dkr

TIGI Catwalk Curlesque Curls Rock Amplifier

A fiber like hair creme to be crumpled into the hair to give beautiful curls. Tigi Catwalk is PARABEN FREE! How awesome is that? I cant wait to use this on my natural curls! I love the bottle, very chic!
Retail is 179Dkr, I paid 99Dkr

Batiste Dry Shampoo, Sweet & Spirited Boho

The famous dry shampoo from UK, in a fruity smell version. The bottle is screaming summer! The idea with this is to spray it in your hair, let it work and then brush it out. It will absorb excess oils and freshen up your hair - perfect for camping trips or if your hair (like mine) tend to seem greasy rather quick. There don't appear to be any of the 17 EDC´s in it.
Retail is 75Dkr, I paid 39Dkr

And for some reason there was a small bag of gummy bears in the package XD

Fun fact of the Day: The first hair perm required the costumer to sit still for 6 hours with as much as a total of 2Lbs of curlers in her hair!

Wednesday Wishing Well

Every Wednesday ill blog about something I wish for. Something I cant buy right away or maybe ever, things that may be to expensive or to hard to get my hands on. And now presenting this weeks wish!

Estee Lauder Pure color Eyeshadow palette, Velvet Underground
For once a palette where I like all the colors! This is from the 2012 fall collection named Violet Underground,  and I must say that this is indeed colors perfect for fall! The brown and blue is great base colors and the pale pink is perfect for the corners of the eye and the crease. The fuchsia invites to play around and not drown in browns just because it is getting colder, and the matte black; Who´s up for smokey eyes?
The 5-palettes usually retail for 45-50$

Fun fact of the day: Reinecance woman would make their own ultimate lip and cheek stain by mixing sandalwood, Cochineal and wax. The color would last a week, even with daily face wash.

New Bag!

I got myself a new bag! I needed a bag that was a bit bigger than my medium sized one but not as big as my big bag. One with room for a cola and a book without getting lost in the deeps, and HUZZAH Neye had a sale! I found a nice bag, 399Dkr, that fits my needs perfectly.

The brand is SoNize and I think its leather. It seems like a nice sturdy handbag, with a convenient shoulder strap as well. It got two front pockets, more room for knick knacks

Fun fact of the Day: In India the blueblooded woman used to change clothes several times a day, and never the same outfit twice. The discarded clothes was instead given to slaves

Wednesday Wishing Well

OOOPS Im late! Im sorry Fabs, been bizzy the past week preparing for my birthday this sunday.

And now presenting this weeks wish!

Samsung Galaxy Note
This is an amazing phone! It is basically a Galaxy S2 (the big competition to Iphone) just bigger! Its a small tablet in many ways, even got a stylus. Like the name suggest this is a phone to use in a new way - as a digital notebook! You can draw, you can write notes, you can save parts of websites and save in the
S memo. Build in is the S Planner, a complex digital calendar that in many ways resemble the daily planners you know from school. The screen is Super Amoled, Samsungs award winning screen with 1280 X 800 pixels! It also got a camera with 8mp, with glass cover so you dont have to worry about scratches. It gives you multiple choices for keyboard (qwerty, Swype, T9) so it should suit any ones taste. This phone is more than a phone and I love the idea!
Retail is 3.999Dkr

Fun fact of the Day: During WW2, the nurses was obligated to wear lipstick to remind them that they where ladies first, military second. It was also supposed to have a calming effect on the injured soldiers

Wednesday Wishing Well

Every Wednesday ill blog about something I wish for. Something I cant buy right away or maybe ever, things that may be to expensive or to hard to get my hands on. And now presenting this weeks wish!

DKNY Be Delicious

I loved Be Delicious ever since the first was released. I loved the bottle, the scent and the whole idea of smelling like apples. I loved the red one to, deeply. Each perfume seems to have the perfect balance of sweet and fresh. It is play full and makes me think of summer days and fresh apples. It was a sad day when I had to give away my bottles to a friend. I became allergic. Perfume made me sneeze, my eyes filled with water and clogged up my nose. I even got a rash. The sad part is that some perfumes I can use - like those based on essential oils. Unfortunately perfumes like that are hard to come by.
Be Delicious retail for approx. 460Dkr

And now I find out about this:

Yeah why don't you just rub it in ye bastards

Fun fact of the day: In the 17th century, the perfect body shape for a woman was what we today would consider overweight
