November Goodiebox

There will be no or limited swatches for a while. Due to the weather and season, I cannot take a prober picture. Out lights are the kind that gives out an orange light which kinda screws up the pictures. Until I get my hands on a lamp with "natural" light, I cant swatch.
Goodiebox is a danish equivalent of Glossybox and Birchbox.

Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas! Feliz Navidad! Joyeux Noel! Glædelig Jul! Hyvaa joulua! Bo Nada! Kala Christouyenn! Mele Kalikimaka! Froehliche Weihnachten! Bon Pasco!
Its Christmas! YAY! Yuletide for all! And what better way to start the season than with a present for yourself?
The theme of this box is "Beauty Tips"

So any things! Yay!

Nivea Repair & Care SOS Bodylotion
Nivea is a brand most people know and love. The blue can of Nivea has been a remedy for woman for decades, used by our mothers and grandmothers. This creme is to very dry skin with need for extra moisture and care. Perfect for when your skin feels like sandpaper after a walk! As it is the case for most skin remedies, it contains Methylparaben and Ethylparaben
Retail is 49,95Dkr

Goldwell Dualsenses Color Shampoo
A shampoo dedicated to keeping your colored hair intense and soft. Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate which is an UV filter. It is especially good for fine hair.

Madara Time Miracle Day Cream Anti Age
I am unfamiliar with this brand, but according to the website it is a ecological, paraben and cruelty free brand. This anti age cream contains tons of natural ingredients like sea thorn, red clover and birch.

Madara Deep Moisture Fluid
Deep moisturising day cream, Eco and cruelty free! Helps the skin recover from imbalance. Perfect for combined skin! Rose, avocado, raspberry - all good ingredients to nourish your skin. I cant wait to test this!

Madara Delicate Cleansing Milk
A soft and calming cleanser, that removes any dirt in your skin gently. This makes it especially good to use on sensitive skin or around the eyes.
Retail 144Dkr get it HERE

Matas Volume Powder
Hair powder to help with volume. Not much to say about this one, I never used hair powder before but I'm looking forward to try it out. It is without perfume so that's a plus!
Retail is 59,95Dkr, get it HERE

Lóreal Proffessionel Abondance De Cacao Masque
Wohoo! I LOVE chocolate, and I loved the shampoo I got in a previous Goodiebox and I'm sure ill love this to! Seriously folks, cacao is like THE ingredients, antioxidant and anti depressive. Cacao is the food of the gods! Parabenfree and again with the rough bottle that somehow seems natural despite being plastic.
Retail is 162Dkr, get it HERE

Fredsted Chai Latte
Fredsted is my favorite tea brand for one reason: They make my preferred Christmas tea A spicy and a green tea Chai which is a big trend (only surpassed by bubble tea) but it never really got my attention. I like my tea bitter so the idea of a milky tea never done it for me. I think ill give this to a friend. Again... I don't like tea´s or chocolate or stuff like that in my box. I really don't.
Retail is 34,95Dkr, in your local supermarket

If you want to join Goddiebox, do it HERE for only 119Dkr a month

Christmas Fun Fact:  Many of the elements in modern Christmas comes from the heathen traditions of Yule, like the Holly that was a symbol of fertility and even the burning of fir was a part of the old rituals surrounding winter solstice

October Goodiebox

Goodiebox is a danish equivalent of Glossybox and Birchbox. For the first time I think  I received the box in the right month! The 31th... Oh well. They changed carriers to Post Danmark which I'm pretty indifferent about.

Lets see whats inside

The theme of this months box is "Staff Favorites", The favorite products of the Goodiebox team.

Mentholatum Softlips Vitamin Enriched Lipbalm
Soft and almost melting lip balm enriched with vitamins and avocado oil. I think there is some Menthol in as well. It got Spf 20, which makes it a perfect friend on skiing trips. It´s easy to apply and feels like its melts onto the lips. It is Paraben and cruelty free!!
Retail is 25,95Dkr, get it HERE

Redken Color Extend Shampoo
I never tried Redken before to be honest. I'm way to cheap to buy shampoo at those prices. I do know that the brand have a lot of goodwill and often shows up in different magazines "Readers Choice" awards. This particular shampoo is to aid in protecting colored hair, keeping the hair lush and strong without damaging the color. Going through the ingredients I discovered the (almost) always present Ethylparaben and Methylparaben but also Ethylhexyl.
Retail is 179Dkr Get it HERE

Redken Color Extend Conditioner
No Shampoo without a conditioner. This is suppose to get the hair smooth and shiny. It got the same EDC´s as its counterpart
Retail is 199dkr, get it HERE

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Frizz Remedy
Ah Aussie, my beloved brand! So smooth, so lush and so funny. Again a funny little comment on the label: "AAAARRGHHHH! Don't give up if you struggle with frizzy hair!". So personal and makes you feel like the brand is down-to-earth. This hair treatment contains Aloe Vera and Jojoba oil, one of my favorite ingredients.
Retail is 119,95Dkr, get it HERE

Bvlgari Omnia Coral Perfume
Since of my allergies I cant really tell you much about this. Goodiebox describes it as a luxurious scent with Goji berries, water lilies and pomegranate.
Retail is 345Dkr, Get it HERE

Sephora Collections Nailpolish, Moody Woman
Ill admit to mild disappointment when the promised Sephora product was a nail polish as we seems to get one in the box all the time. I had hoped for an eyeshadow. That said I must say that I do like this one a lot. A nice gold green hue, one coat is all it takes and my is it easy to apply! The easiest I tried I reckon. It dries wicked fast and I think the name suggest who should use it rather than the color ;)
Retail is 35Dkr get it at your local Sephora

Kinder Bueno
An odd thing to put in a beauty box, but who can complain about chocolate? I didn't think so either

All in all I'm satisfied, not blown away. If you want to get Goodiebox, you can become a member on their WEBSITE for 119dkr a month

September Goodiebox

Yes yes I know - VERY late review, I do hope you don't mind to much tough. I'm expecting to blog a lot more now that I got a new and awesome phone with an awesome camera and a nice little "light box" to use for pictures. All I need now is some lights to help it, but all in time. I still haven't received my order from the Models Own sale, but as soon as it arrives ill of course show off my purchases.

Goodiebox is a danish equivalent of BirchBox and Glossybox
EDC means Endoctrine disrupting chemicals. The ingredients in red is EDC´s from the EU list of 17 that has been proven harmfull

This months theme is Rock It Up, inspired by the one and only Lady Gaga who recently performed in Copenhagen.

All together!

Diesel, Loveoverdose perfume
The perfume is described as a fresh and fruity scent with notes of orange flowers and liquorice. I do like the full size flagon, very girly! I cant tell if its good or not since of allergies
Retail is 275Dkr, get it HERE

David Beckham, The Essence por homme perfume
In my opinion 99,9% of perfumes for men stink. You better make your own opinions on this XD
Retail is 230Dkr, get it HERE

Oriflame Beauty Eyeliner Stylo
To me, Oriflame is equal to old ladies that don't know quality and just need something to smear on the face twice a year when there is a party - Cheap and bad quality. No offense to anyone but that's how I perceived it, so I was pretty curios to if they changed since my mom would receive her monthly packages back in 1990ies. Well... This stinks. Literally. Like benzine or turpentine or something like that. YUCK! That went straight to the garbage can.
It also contains  methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben
Retail is 110Dkr (wheres the days where Oriflame was cheap??), get it HERE

Oriflame Beauty Eyebrow Kit
After the disaster of the eyeliner I was less than positive when opening this one. Luckily this isn't so bad. It´s not amazing but it does what its suppose to. A good beginners kit i´d say. Decent pigment and the wax is easy to use as well.
Retail is 69Dkr, Get it HERE

Nutrilett Hunger Control Bar
A diet bar in a beautybox. Good grief. Like the diet supplement in the previous box, this just rubs me the wrong way. I also dislike these things in general. Eat a fucking apple if you need a healthy snack, not some mineral added candy bar. They claim it can be eaten instead of breakfast and just to be clear: Then you fuck up your body. The breakfast needs a lot more to keep you going till lunch. It is body physics 101: To keep the engine running to burn off calories, you need to eat 3 main meals and 3 snacks a day. That way you keep your sugar level steady and your burner burning.
Retail is 19,95Dkr and you can get it here HERE

Lóreal Proffessionel Abondance De Cacao Shampoo
I LOVE chocolate and incidently cacao! You can practically sell me any product as long as it contains chocolate lol. The shampoo is designed specifically for fine Scandinavian hair - which I don't have. Oh well maybe it will do something nice for my hair to. What I love about this is that its PARABEN FREE and no silicone either! The bottle got this nice rough "natural" feel about it
Retail is 118Dkr but Nicehair has it for only 98Dkr. Get it HERE

Orofluido Elixir
Dye my hair pink and call me Lucy! WOW!!! What a gem to receive! I heard nothing but praise to this hair-oil-that-isn't-quite-a-hair-oil. There is something about this that makes me feel like I'm sucked into Arabian nights. The color, the logo, the bottle. Like I'm a princess getting pampered.

Ad to dry or damp hair, lenght and tips not scalp! Its filled with good stuff like argan, cyprus and lin oil. It also contains perfume but I hope I can use it anyway. unfortunately it also contains Cyclotetrasiloxane ::( Bummer!
Retail is 129Dkr but Nicehair got it for 77,40Dkr. Get it HERE

Max Factor Face Finity 3-in-one All Day Flawless Foundation
Primer, concealer and foundation in one. I'm all for products with more than one use! They got 5 shades available and its paraben free
Retail is 149Dkr, Get it HERE

Fun Fact of the Day: Artistic nail art is not a modern invention. The Incas painted eagles on their nails

August Goodiebox

Goodiebox is the Danish equivalent of Glossybox and Birchbox.

It seems they had some troubles with delivery as I didn't receive my box till Tuesday. I am still not going to recommend signing up for this just yet, as I am less than pleased with the way they treat other costumers. I haven't had any issue myself, but I'm aware of several very unprofessional responses via their Facebook.

Regardless, they seem to try and straighten things out, so I'm holding on a bit more. On a related note, I signed up for MyBeautyBox which is a cosmetic focused box! They already made promise of Urban Decay in the first box! I will of course review them when I get the box (shipped October 15th).
And now to this months - or rather last months ;) - Beauty box!

Pink band again - I do love pink <3

This weeks box is dedicated to Vidal Sassoon, the man who in 1960 invented "The Wedge Bob" and changed the way we saw woman's hair forever! He´s the grandfather of the modern short styles with his vision of hair that was easy to style and keep. Most of the products this month is all about the hair!

Loreal Texture Experts Smooth Ultime
I'm not exactly sure what this is... Goodiebox calls it a "Hair Tamer" but I haven't got a clue what that means. Contains Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and Methylparaben both EDC´s so I doubt ill be using it.
Full size retail is 192Dkr

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum
John Frieda is the stars go-to hair expert, and rumor has it that his products are amazing. Upon inspection tough it turned up that they have several EDC´s in them including Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate Probylparaben and  Methylparaben  but ther´es some good stuff to like Glycerin, olive oil and mineral oil.
Full size retail is 89Dkr

Davines Absolute Beautyfying Potion
The product I'm most exited about this time!! It is a hair oil, and im looking very much forward to use it! Sadly, again parabens :( Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, which is an UV filter.
Full size retail is 300Dkr

Milk_Shake Whipped Cream, Leave in Conditioner
I love quirky stuff and this whipped cream conditioner tickles my funny bone :D It smells like caramel whipped cream, UMM I say! I couldn't spot any parabens on the label yay! It contains sunflower seed oil and milk protein! And we all know that Cleopatra bathed in milk to keep her beauty
Full size retail is 159Dkr

Futura Silica
A diet supplement to hair and nails. I'm pretty iffy about this one. I know that many people are unaware of the consequences it can have to mix drugstore pills with medicine, and I cant really see the purpose of a diet supplement in a beauty box...
Retail is 79,95Dkr

Cacharel Catch Me Perfume
Booo :( As a perfume allergic I cant test this. I'm putting it in my "give away" box

Look how pretty that bottle is on the pic! Curse my allergies

Gosh Light´N Shine Lip Glaze, Pick Me
This is really a treat! Full size and limited edition; can one ask for more?

It got a mirror on the side - very clever!

and light in the top!

The applicator is a brush. Not very innovative but it suits the texture of the gloss. It is VERY sticky! The scent and taste make me think of candy apples, and the texture; Syrup. I WANT to love it but I have a hard time with sticky gloss.
I couldn't find the ingredients list, if anyone knows where to find it let me know!

The color is a dark plum with a hint of red. Like red wine (or candy apples). The shine is so intense,  a real eye catcher!
Retail is 99Dkr

And as a goodbye, a pic of me I took trying to get a good picture of the gloss - sexy pout yeah!

Fun fact of the Day: Hair is made of keratin, same as your nails!

July Goodiebox

Goodiebox is the danish equivalent to Glossybox and Birchbox
EDC means Endoctrine disrupting chemicals.

So, I was very disappointed with the previous Goodiebox (May) and I never got around to review it since I was suffering from severe hay fever. Never the less I was less than impressed with how things was handled, how late the boxes where shipped and so forth. I had decided not to order the next box.

A few days ago I received a notice from the delivery firm that I had a package waiting from Goodiebox. I was of course surprised, checked my account - sure enough the money was drawn and my profile said they charged from my mastercard now (I used paypal, which meant that id have to order each box separately). I figured I paid, might as well check it out- and I'm awed! This box is fucking amazing!

This months box is dedicated to Coco Chanels mantra: Believe in yourself!

Nice pink ribbon, and look it matches my fabric! The Goodiebox is 119Dkr pr month with delivery!

And will you look at that! Big sizes!

Decubal Ecological Face Cream
Decubal is a Scandinavian brand that has been sold on pharmacies for more than 30 years. I personally know the brand from a hand creme that I used for very dry skin, and it was always my favorite. I'm always exited about eco products and this is perfume and pharaben free! Its filled to the brim with nice stuff like apricot seed oil, almond oil and my all time favorite jojoba oil!
Retail is 119,95Dkr

Decubal Ecological Body Cream
Moisturizing body cream, and like the face cream there is no perfume or parapens! The key ingredients is elder flower, and there is also almond oil in. Cant wait to use it!
Retail is 104,95Dkr

Jurlique Eye Makeup Remover
This is quite interesting. Jurlique is a firm trying to help the environment and woman's rights. They believe in bio dynamic beauty products with ingredients from their own bio dynamic farm in Australia. Basically it is the more elegant and a tad more expensive version of Yves Rocher

The tube is... Dull. It screams silent movie pharmacy. The toothpaste looking cap isn't helping the matter

I find it very interesting with the eye makeup remover in creme form. The box says to use it with a cotton ball and gently remove the makeup and then rinse or wipe off the excess creme. I like the ingredients in this Jojoba, sunflower and dandelion all chosen for their unique abilities. Jojoba hydrates and soothes sensitive skin, sunflower oil help the skin keep its elasticity and dandelion protects fragile skin. I'm looking forward to try this!
Retail is 195Dkr

BodyNordic lip gloss, Brown
Bodynordic is a brand I'm unfamiliar with so I googled and found their website. They are a danish company with danish production - and in these days local produced is a good thing! The tube is a normal glide on and its very smooth. I found none of the 17 EDC´s in the ingredients list.

Its a nice brown with lots of sparkle but still subtle enough to use in a regular day. I think it will go great on top of a lipstick for a party. It is smooth and not sticky - I swear my lips are less dry just by trying it on!! (on a side note, check out how freckled I am! That's how you know its summer XD)
It retails for 99Dkr

Schwarzkopf Osis+ Session Extreme Hold Hairspray
A hairspray for extreme styles, the kind where your hair turns into hard plastic lol. I usually don't use extreme hold hairsprays (or hairspray at all) but I'm sure it will be fun at Halloween. Maybe experiment a little
It retails at 129Dkr

Depend Holographic Nail polish, Plum
Depend is a low price brand with seat in Sweden. They make some neat nail polishes!

Its pretty easy to put on, and 2-3 layers is enough. The color is really nice and the picture isn't doing it justice!
Retail is 45Dkr

All in all - I am one impressed costumer! KUDOS Goodiebox, KUDOS! If you want to buy Goddiebox then go to their WEBSITE for further info :)

Fun fact of the day; Eyeliner was invented in ancient Egypt and used to protect the eyes from the desert sun as well as "evil eye" or sickness. Modern research has shown that the Egyptians eyeliner actually did have an effect protecting their eyes from infection.
